If you are new to Mostly Music Chicago, this is what we do...
Mostly Music Chicago is an independent non-profit organization which presents chamber music concerts in the intimate settings for which they were composed. After the concert, there is a delicious reception with an opportunity to speak to the artists. This season has four very special Sunday afternoons planned in venues both private and public.
Behind the scenes, we present a number of concerts to audiences that cannot come to us. This season we are partnering with Communities in Schools Chicago, an organization that assists in the identification of CPS schools that would like to receive concerts.
Mostly Music Chicago is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

David Schrader celebrates his birthday: Sunday, September 23, 2012 @ 3:00 - World-renowned harpsichordist David Schrader turns 60 this year and celebrates the occasion with us! In this very special performance, David plays his favorites just for us. He will announce his selections from the stage so you have to come to the grogeous Driehaus Museum to find out just what are his favorites.
Peter Van De Graaff and Kathleen Van De Craaff : Sunday, November 18, 2012 @ 3:00 - Hear and see one of history's greatest love stories come alive in music and words as WFMT's Peter Van De Graaff and his lovely wife, Kathleen, enact "The Life and Love of Robert and Clara Schumann".
Ian Maksin and Ani Gogova: Sunday, January 13, 2013 @ 3:00 - These two accomplished soloists have joined forces and combined their artisic vision as the iAN&ANi DUO. With Ian playing the cello and Ani on the piano this duo is committed to the classical repetoire as well as great music of the last 100 years from Russia, Spain and Latin America.
Ars Antigua Presents: Sunday, April 7, 2013 @ 3:00 - Join Eve Straussman-Pflanzer, the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Associate Curator of European Painting and Sculpture before 1750 at the Art Institute of Chicago and Ars Antigua, directed by Jerry Fuller, for this special program event...an exploartaion of the Art Institute's most interesting renaissance and baroque art through discssion of the art itself and performances of music related to the art.

Driehaus Museum - Mostly Music Chicago returns to this stunning space for David Schrader's performance. The Richard H. Driehaus Museum immerses visitors in the culturally and historically significant setting of one of the grandest residential buildings of 19th-century Chicago: the Samuel M. Nickerson House. The Driehaus Museum is on the National Registry for Historic Landmarks.
